ミリピー(ドゥ)

説明：ムカデと同じ多足類(Myriapoda)。ムカデと似ているが体つきに違いがある。ヤツデは肉厚の筒状で、ムカデは平たい。ムカデには毒があるが、やすでには毒がない。ただし、ヤスデは触ると悪臭を放し、かぶれることもある。

Millipedes are myriapods like centipedes. They are similar to centipedes, but their body shapes are different. Centipedes are flat, while millipedes are thick and tubular. Centipedes are poisonous, and millipedes are not. However, millipedes give off a bad smell when touched and may cause a rash.

説明：下葉の裏に産みつけられた卵からふ化した幼虫が葉を食害。幼齢時は薬剤が効くが、後は効きにくく、ハクサイなどの結球内に食い込んだものは駆除できない。5～6月と9～10月に多発する。捕殺が確実で効果が高い。
