説明：ヤスデと同じ多足類(Myriapoda)。ヤスデと似ているが体つきに違いがある。ムカデは平たく、ヤツデは肉厚の筒状。ムカデには毒があり、ヤスデには毒がない。(ただし、ヤスデは触ると悪臭を放し、かぶれることもある。)
