説明：漢字で「百足」と書くが、英語も語源はラテン語で、「百足」

センティピー(ドゥ)

説明：ヤスデと同じ多足類(Myriapoda)。ヤスデと似ているが体つきに違いがある。ムカデは平たく、ヤツデは肉厚の筒状。ムカデには毒があり、ヤスデには毒がない。(ただし、ヤスデは触ると悪臭を放し、かぶれることもある。)
Centipedes are myriapods like millipedes. They are similar to millipedes, but their body shapes are different. Centipedes are flat, while millipedes are thick and tubular. Centipedes are poisonous, and millipedes are not. (Millipedes give off a bad smell when touched and may cause a rash.)
